Here are three fresh giveaways by some of my very favorite artists at the moment. The first of them is Honolulu Baby by Soundnomaden. Then we got Wochenend & Sonnenschein by Wolfgang Lohr. And finally a lazy mix of Lazlos Sucette.
Lazlo – Noah
21 JulNot quite sure how to label this one, gospel, swing, tech-..soul-..funk-..blues? This exceeds my competencies. I just know that it’s a rad track. Credit goes to the Grant Lazlo and obviously the famous Golden Gate Quartet.
Here is another take one it by Skeewiff that is also worth taking a look at.
Good Morning Funny Valentine
24 JunTime for a change of pace! Here is Lazlo with an interesting down-beat-jazz track. Oh and to mention the best, its free!
Tennis Swing EP
27 AprLazlo – Victor
10 AprJust a month ago Lazlo brought out his debut album. Now he is already back with a new track named Victor. Seems it’s impossible to keep this “producing-maniac” from doing his job.
Anyhow, he again did it pretty well on this one. Sadly it doesn’t look like it is going to be officially released any soon.
Lazlo
14 MarFrench producer Lazlo (Marseille) just released his first Album on Chinchin records, a label that by the way features some other quite interesting artists such as Club des Belugas or Tape Five.
Most tracks come with old clarinet, sax or trumpet samples paired with 4/4 beats which makes Lazlo mainly a dance floor album, and yet his songs appear really organic. Also the album certainly doesn’t lack in variety. So here are my picks..
